Greater Wausau Prosperity Partnership in collaboration with WI Dept. of Natural Resources contract SE Group and IMBA Trail Solutions to create a Recreation Needs Assessment for Rib Mtn SP that informs DNR Staff while updating the Rib Mtn Master Plan.
2022 | State Park Master Plan Approval
Throughout 2022 WI DNR staff create a draft Master Plan for public review that was approval by the DNR Natural Resources Board in December.
2023 – 2024 | Trail Network Plan Refinement
DNR Staff, Rib Mtn Stakeholder group, and IMBA Trail Solutions create a site specific Trail Network Plan guided by the updated Master Plan.
2025 | Trail Design
KTH and IMBA Trail Solutions work closely with DNR Staff and the Rib Mtn stakeholder group to field design 17 miles of the Trail Network plan. This work guides permitting, construction costs, phasing, and trail build approach.
